Concert Astéréotypie
Cogolin Cultural Concert
Behind Astéréotypie are Yohann, Stanislas, Aurélien, Claire and Félix, the man behind the scenes.
Friday 4 April 2025 between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm.
A combo formed in 2010 at a writing and poetry workshop held at a medical-educational institute in the Hauts-de-Seine department, this astonishing group, made up of disabled and able-bodied musicians, produces a wealth of atypical lyrics and moody phrasing that captivate the ear with a kind of energetic post-punk that sometimes veers towards garage-rock or noisy.
Through their lyrics, they evoke their universe, their fears in poems expressed in an offbeat tone with undeniable aesthetic qualities. The lyrics are declaimed against a Morriconian-influenced backdrop of chamber music and acoustic post-rock.
Some of the disabled musicians featured in the TV series "Les rencontres du popotin", and others in the Artus film "Un p'tit truc en plus".
