New Year's Eve at Café Théâtre Le Lézard
Cogolin Cultural Café-Theatre
Matthieu "Elle est pas belle la vie" (Life is not beautiful)
Tuesday 31 December 2024 between 7.04 pm and 12 am.
His face will ring a bell... you've seen him at Le Petit Théâtre de Bouvard (Antenne 2) and La Classe (FR 3), and elsewhere opening for Patrick SEBASTIEN... but his not very cathodic gospel will keep him away from the small screen. This son of Salvador, this little brother of Coluche, this cousin of Bedos has learned his lesson well. As lively as his sketches, he castigates taxes, hunters, alcohol, social security, politics, love and, above all, break-ups... There's something for everyone. It's heavy stuff, stained red... but it's so good! A troublemaker, he improvises with verve, putting laughers in his pocket after having put them in a box. Acidic and warm, always generous, he releases tensions with his guitar and takes you to his Islands. Indispensable in this day and age. He may be less present on the small screen, but he's still going strong on Parisian stages. He's the mainstay of the famous Parisian cabaret Don Camilo. Directed by Pascal LEGITIMUS, who has found in him a resonance. A useful and necessary show in times of crisis, not to be consumed in moderation.
