Heritage days

Gassin offers free guided tours of the village during Heritage Days. These tours are led by a guide and allows you to discover Gassin, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.

Saturday 21 September 2024 between 2.30 pm and 4 pm.
Sunday 22 September 2024 between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.
Subject to favorable weather. Cancelled in case of bad weather.

Gassin is undoubtedly one of the oldest municipalities in the Gulf. Old Roman Ligurian village then Saracen, it suffered Saracen incursions from the 8th to the 14th century. Ramparts exist, and allow a panoramic view of the islands of Hyères to the Alps.
