La Garde-Freinet Cultural Guided tour - initiation / discovery during an event
As part of the European Heritage Days, the Conservatoire du Patrimoine du Freinet organises guided tours of the emblematic places of La Garde Freinet and ‘Archaeological digs’ workshop.

On the programme as part of the European Heritage Days:
CHANGE OF TIMES DUE TO THE WEATHER: THE TOUR OF THE FORT FREINET AND THE WORKSHOP WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE MORNING FROM 10 am BY RESERVATION.
September 21st:
10h-11h30 Heritage walk
Guided tour of the village of La Garde-Freinet (3€)
2pm-4.30pm Visit to Fort Freinet
Laurent Boudinot, heritage officer, invites you to discover the old village of La Garde-Freinet, built on a rocky outcrop (3€)
2pm-4.30pm ‘Archaeological digs’ workshop:
During a miniature dig, equipped with trowel, brush, bucket and paintbrush, you will uncover vestiges of the past (5€, children aged 6 and over).
Special opening of the Freinet Conservatory Museum on 21 September from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm (free admission).
