Exposition Lavoir Vasserot - August Schnee - Les jardins de Saint-Tropez

Artist August Schnee presents a previously unpublished selection of ten paintings on canvas, paying a vibrant, joyful and colorful tribute to the Mediterranean landscape and the town of Saint-Tropez.

From Thursday 31 October to Wednesday 6 November 2024 between 10 am and 6 pm.

Saint-Tropez, with its beauty and mythical history, is the main source of inspiration for contemporary artist August Schnee, who is presenting a new series of luminous canvases at the Lavoir Vasserot from March 23 to March 29, 2023.

The joie de vivre and gaiety that animate her paintings are rooted in abstract expressionism. The vivid colors that punctuate his compositions and the gesturality that characterizes them are a celebration of life.

Originally from Berlin, but now based in Nice, August Schnee's work strikes a fine balance between Berlin and Mediterranean cultures.
