After her Victoire de la Musique 2025 in the category “Female Revelation of the Year”, the one we call “the new comforting witch of French song” is stopping off at the Carré with, in her magic sack, a handful of songs with fine and blunt writing at the same time, a voice with a crystalline and sensual softness. Does this mean that she bewitches all those who listen to her? Judging by the millions of streams collected in a few months, it is a great talent that blossoms before us.

With only one mini album to her credit, the Printemps de Bourges and the Francofolies de la Rochelle are making eyes at her! A consecration for this young singer who spent a bohemian childhood between an actor father and a mother who was in turn a singer, stylist and costume designer. Initially tempted by theater and modeling, Solann finally took the path of music with her ukulele and provided the opening act for Patrick Watson, a Quebec pop aesthete, at the Café de la danse in the fall of 2023. Then everything happened at a hundred miles an hour! She recorded her first album Monstrueuse in the studio with “cathartic, literary, theatrical, mythological writing” under the leadership of producer Marso. Her destiny was set: she would be a singer to infuse everything she had on her heart into her compositions. Toxic relationships, the relationship with the body, the scratches of life, its demons, its femininity, its weaknesses and its disappointments…
