Théâtre : Résistances

Through a theatrical, sound and musical reading, Elena Bosco and Irène Reva give voice, body and substance to stories about the role of women in the Resistance in the south of France, from 1940 until the landings in 1944.

This show offers a lesson in history and in lives that are often forgotten, told in a variety of rhythms and registers, where suspense rubs shoulders with the ridiculous, and the grotesque accompanies the tragic.

The two actresses, informed by their readings, use archive documents, personal accounts and autobiographies with force and conviction to affirm that resistance is lived in the present.

More than a simple lecture, this choral show is deeply moving and leaves no one indifferent, especially young audiences, to the evocation of this fight for freedom.
