Les Suffren" in Saint-Tropez: a journey to the heart of Tropez's naval history. The City of Saint-Tropez, official sponsor of the nuclear attack submarine "Suffren" since March 10, 2023, honors the maritime heritage of Admiral Pierre-André de Suffren, whose family proudly bore the name "Suffren de Saint-Tropez".

This tribute comes to life with an exceptional exhibition dedicated to the seven French Navy ships that, over the centuries, have borne the name of this famous sailor, as well as the eighth, the new submarine.

The exhibition will plunge you into over two centuries of maritime history. Through plans, photos, objects and models, discover the evolution of these warships, from the battleship frigate to today's nuclear submarine.
For the first time, eight works of art by Jean-Marie Cuzin
representing these ships will also be on display.
