Dry stone day

During one day, Alain Bouvard, a masonry trainer, will help you discover and learn the techniques for rehabilitating rural dry stone buildings.

Saturday 14 September 2024 between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
Saturday 5 October 2024 between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
Saturday 9 November 2024 between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
Saturday 7 December 2024 between 9 am and 4.30 pm.

You will learn about the general principles of construction and then become familiar with the materials (nature of the rock, cutting techniques) and learn the techniques for laying, covering and finishing.
Several types of structures will be proposed: retaining walls, double walls, corner chains, stairs, etc.
This fun and constructive course is aimed at beginners as well as those who wish to improve their skills.
