Marc STEYAERT was born in Ghent, Belgium, where, up until 1984, his father worked as a chocolatier and his grandfather as a pastry chef. A recent graduate who had grown up loving France and his career as a chocolatier, he made the decision to open in the center of Sainte-Maxime's historic district in 1984. He converted his office space into a genuine antique store.

Customers may see Marc Steyaert's glass-enclosed laboratory where he creates his chocolates every day. It has four tempering machines that prepare praline, milk chocolate, pure white cocoa butter chocolate, and 70% dark chocolate.

There are 55 different flavors and no preservatives, chemicals, extra fats, or sugar in its chocolates.


Marc Steyaert manufactures daily in his glass laboratory, visible to his customers, this one is equipped with 4 tempering machines in which are worked: dark chocolate 70%, milk chocolate, pure white chocolate cocoa butter as well as praline.

Its chocolates are preservative-free, additive-free, fat-free and sugar-free, offering 55 varieties.

He makes delicious Nougats in the respect of the original recipe: the White Classic with dried fruits & candied fruits, but also the Nougat with Chocolate and sometimes a surprise Nougat!
